Terms and Conditions for Screen Refurbishment

Effective date: 23 March 2026


1. Orders & Acceptance

All refurbishment orders must be submitted through our online form.
We will confirm receipt of your order via email. A binding agreement is formed once this confirmation is sent.

Orders received without a completed form may be rejected or returned at the sender’s expense.


2. Customer Responsibility

You agree that all information provided is accurate, complete, and belongs to you.

It is your responsibility to:

  • Properly package all screens before shipping

  • Ensure items are protected during transit

  • Use a tracked and insured delivery service


3. Delivery & Risk

We work with third-party courier services. While we aim to ensure smooth delivery, we are not responsible for:

  • Courier delays

  • Lost or damaged parcels in transit


If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, you must:

  • Refuse delivery, or

  • Clearly note the damage when signing


Failure to do so transfers responsibility for damage to you.


4. Inspection & Eligibility

All screens are tested upon arrival and assessed for refurbishment suitability.

We only refurbish screens that meet the following criteria:

  • Fully functional display

  • Original/OEM screens (including previously refurbished originals)

We do not accept:

  • Non-original / copy screens

  • Screens with: LCD or OLED damage (lines, blocks, dead pixels), Flex cable issues

Non-eligible screens will be returned at your cost.


5. Nature of Refurbishment

Refurbishment involves glass replacement only.

We do not repair underlying display issues.
Any existing defects (e.g. colour tint, brightness issues, LCD marks) will remain after refurbishment.


6. Refurbishment Success Rate

Due to unknown screen history and prior repairs, a 100% success rate cannot be guaranteed.

However:

  • We aim to successfully refurbish at least 90% of accepted screens.

  • Screens damaged during refurbishment will not be charged. Be returned to you.


7. Customisation

You may specify preferred glass/frame colour.

If no preference is provided, screens will be returned in their original colour.


8. Pricing

Prices are quoted in GBP and are valid for 14 days from order submission.

If screens arrive after this period, we reserve the right to update pricing based on current rates.


9. Payment Terms

Payment is required after refurbishment is completed and before dispatch.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Bank transfer (BACS)

  • Card payment

  • Cash on collection

Orders not paid within 28 days may be dismantled or recycled to recover parts.


10. Returns & Warranty

Screens must be tested before installation.


DOA (Dead on Arrival):

  • Must be reported within 7 days

  • Screen must: Not be installed

Warranty:

  • 6-month warranty applies only to parts fitted by us

  • Covers defects related to refurbishment work

Not covered:

  • Physical damage (cracks, impact)

  • Installed screens

  • Damage caused during fitting

If the original display develops faults, we may offer a replacement refurbishment free of charge (like-for-like), provided a replacement display is supplied.


11. Cancellations

Order cancellation may be possible before work begins.

If refurbishment has started:

  • Charges may apply

  • Return shipping remains your responsibility


12. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss of business

  • Indirect or consequential damages


13. Errors & Pricing

We reserve the right to:

  • Correct pricing errors

  • Cancel or amend orders if incorrect pricing is displayed

You will be notified and given the option to proceed or cancel.


14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.

Both parties agree to the jurisdiction of Scottish courts.


15. Acceptance of Terms

Sending screens for refurbishment confirms full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
