These Terms and Conditions apply to all services and products offered by PROFIX, including mobile device repair and accessory sales, both locally and via mail-in service. By using our website or engaging with our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Services and Products

All services are provided with due skill and care. We reserve the right to refuse service if necessary (e.g. for devices that are irreparably damaged or suspected of being stolen).
3. Orders and Payments
Customers may:

Book and pay for services/products through our website

Pay in-store after the service is completed
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and other options shown at checkout. All prices are listed in GBP and exclude VAT.
4. Delivery and Turnaround Time
For accessory orders:

Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days.

Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected.
For repair services:

Turnaround time will be provided at the time of booking or upon device assessment.
5. Cancellations and Returns
Accessory Returns:
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of delivery, in line with consumer rights regulations. Products must be unused and returned in original packaging.
Repair Services:
You may cancel a booked repair before work begins. If work has already started, a partial refund may be issued depending on the progress.

6. Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty on all standard repair services. Battery replacements are covered by a 90-day warranty, and front glass-only replacements (on display assemblies) come with a 3-month warranty. Warranty covers only the parts replaced and our workmanship.
No warranty is provided for diagnostics or liquid damage cleaning services.
The warranty is void if the device is later opened or tampered with by a third party, or if new damage occurs (e.g. accidental, physical, or liquid damage). Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
7. Data Handling and Privacy During Repairs
At PROFIX, we take your data privacy seriously.
During diagnostics and repair, we do not delete, copy, or access any personal data stored on your device (including photos, messages, files, or apps), unless specifically requested by you or required to complete the service.
Please be aware:

Data loss may already have occurred prior to repair due to physical damage, software corruption, system failure, or water/electrical damage.

We strongly advise all customers to back up their data before submitting a device.

If a factory reset or data wipe is necessary, we will always request your consent beforehand.

While we take every precaution to protect data, we cannot guarantee data recovery in cases of existing internal or software-related damage.
All customer data is treated as strictly confidential and is never shared with third parties.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:

Loss of data on devices (we recommend backups before any repair)

Damage resulting from misuse after service

Delays beyond our control (e.g. postal disruptions)
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service or product.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website (text, logos, images) is the property of PROFIX and may not be reproduced or used without our written consent.
